a great many words ending in : die Wanne (tub), Birne (pear), Tasse (cup), Zahnbürste (toothbrush), Wiese (meadow), but exceptions: der Name (name), der Junge (boy), der Löwe (lion), der Hase (rabbit, hare), der Käse (cheese)
all with the suffixes , , , , , : die Bäckerei (bakery), Krankheit (disease), Freundlichkeit (friendliness), Gesellschaft (society, company), Fahrt (trip), Wohnung (apartment, abode), but exception: der Sprung (jump), since it comes from the verb "springen", so it does not have a suffix
all with the suffixes , , , , , , , , , : die Reportage (report), Lizenz (license), Delikatesse (delicacy), Friseuse (female barber), Melodie (melody), Politik (politics, policy), Nation (nation), Gastritis (gastritis), Universität (university), Natur (nature)
